Seva Tree Foundation Distributes over 1,000 Winter Blankets Across Delhi
As North India faces a severe winter spell, Seva Tree Foundation conducted a large-scale relief initiative distributing over 1,000 winter blankets to vulnerable and underserved groups across Delhi. The blankets were provided near government hospitals to patients and their caregivers, under flyovers, to rickshaw pullers, daily-wage workers, and homeless individuals struggling against the cold.
The initiative aims to safeguard the poor from harsh temperatures while reaffirming the organization’s commitment to compassion-driven action. Volunteers mobilized across multiple locations to ensure timely support, especially for those sleeping in open areas without access to shelter.
Seva Tree Foundation is devoted to selfless service (Seva) and holistic growth (Tree)—symbolizing resilience, generosity, and nurturing, much like a tree that provides shade, oxygen, food, and sustenance to all without discrimination.
The Foundation’s mission focuses on uplifting the underprivileged through food, clothing, shelter, education, training, and healthcare services, while advocating for fundamental rights such as the right to life, the right to food, and access to healthcare and legal support. Seva Tree Foundation also collaborates with government bodies to improve public policies, promote equality, and foster justice for marginalized communities.
By creating sustainable livelihoods and improving living standards for the poor, Seva Tree Foundation continues to work toward inclusive and holistic societal development.
